School Programme
New learning campus development that would combine Pembrokeshire County Councils existing secondary school and vocational centre into one learning facility. A further 4000m² College building was to be developed at the existing school located off Pembroke Road.
Tri-service Fire Station
A new build, tri-service fire station located within Cornwall built to accommodate all three emergency services. The development included two new buildings comprising of fire control and emergency response rooms, training workshops, offices and vehicle service and repair bays.
Tisbury Campus
Refurbishment of Wiltshire Councils existing school building and leisure centre to create a community campus. The campus comprises of a central community facility and leisure centre with an outdoor swimming pool. Further amenities include a learning and skills centre, library, incubation units, offices and welfare facilities.
Truro Eastern Park and Ride
Development of a new park and ride facility within the outskirts of Truro town centre for Cornwall County Council. The project included the construction of a terminus hub and ticket office, 1300 parking spaces, upgrades to road junctions, pedestrian and cycle access and extensive landscaping.
Combe Down Stone Mine
Project managing the stabilisation of the land on which 700 homes were built for Bath and North East Somerset Council. The stabilisation of the underground mines was achieved by filling the mine shafts with foamed concrete.
Archive Centre
Heritage Lottery Funded redevelopment of a 17th century brewery to house the collections of the Cornwall Record Office, the Cornish Studies Library and Cornwall and Scilly Historic Environment Record.
Devizes Care Home
A new build care residential facility for Wiltshire Council to provide additional, independent living accommodation. This is a 6,000 sqm, new build facility comprising 47 residential units which include 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments, 24-hour on-site care support, communal facilities gardens and landscaping and car parking.
St Johns Hall
The refurbishment of a Grade II listed Cornwall Council building within the centre of Penzance. The new facility houses a relocated library, a new adult education facility, one stop shop, registrars office and Council office space for 170 Council staff.
Spurcroft School
Phased conversion of West Berkshire Council’s Spurcroft Primary School, to take it from a 1.5 Form Entry to 2.5 Form Entry school. This involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing school and provision of a new modular teaching block, library and offices.
Pydar House
A large Cornwall Council office refurbishment in Truro for 570 Council staff. The refurbishment involved creating new office space and other Council services including additional space for the Cornwall Development Company, a revised reception area including Truro One Stop Shop, Revenue and Benefits and Cornwall Housing.
School Programme
Programme of 6 school refurbishments and extensions to increase Wiltshire Councils capacity. Projects involved creating new learning and teaching space, school and staff facilities and enhancements to external surroundings and structures.
Leisure Maintenance Upgrade
Refurbishment programme to 14 Cornwall Council-owned leisure centres. The project entailed a review of the critical condition of each of the buildings in order to identify and prioritise maintenance and replacement works. This included engineering safety, building fabric, access systems and other safety-related systems.
Theale Green School
Two-storey extension to an existing secondary school for West Berkshire Council in Theale, Reading. The project was undertaken in a live school environment and created a new sixth form facility for the school.
Green Cornwall
Green Cornwall was a programme of works consisting of 158 small carbon-saving projects; including small refurbishments and the installation of Biomass Boilers, Voltage Optimisation, Microhydro Generation, Combined Heat and Power Systems, Photovoltaics and LED Lighting.
Exeter House School
New extension to Wiltshire Councils existing Exeter House Special School, which provides education for children between the ages of 3 and 19, who have a range of learning difficulties. The project provided additional teaching space, storerooms, administration, group rooms and a hall.
Brewery Quarter Flood Relief
Development of a brownfield site for Cornwall County Council to resolve existing flooding issues and to allow developers to successfully build upon the site. The new development included a new housing estate, a supermarket, a waste recycling centre and the restoration of a historic building as a tourist attraction.
Wellington Academy
Providing local authority project management services to Wiltshire Council. The project involved extending the existing school building to provide additional teaching and learning space, study areas, welfare facilities and storage space.
Redruth Bypass
Project Managing upgrade works to the A3047 Redruth bypass for Cornwall Council. The projects aim was to create a town ‘gateway’ with pedestrian access to a new development across the dual carriageway, this was achieved through carrying out bypass junction works, the creation of cycling facilities and improved pedestrian crossing points.
Corsham Campus
The development of a new build community campus for Wiltshire Council. The project was connected to an existing leisure centre and required extensions to the health and fitness suite, as well as a library, cafe, neighbourhood policing team and meeting rooms.
Bodmin Council Offices
Construction of a new Cornwall Council office building to accomodate 675 staff at Beacon Technology Park, Bodmin. The project included creating flexible working space for Council workers and the inclusion of an Adult Education centre and a BT Cornwall call centre.
