Provelio were appointed to manage the relocation of the clients Bulmershe Campus to the London Road Campus to consolidate the university on two campuses. The IoE is a teacher training college that trains over 1000 teaches a year and covers all secondary and primary education areas over twelve departments. Provelio were appointed to manage the project from RIBA 0 – 7.

The project consisted of fully refurbishing 11 building on the London Road campus to create a variety of teaching facilities. In parallel, a series of works occured to deliver new infrastructure services (new substation, LV distribution, gas, water, IT) to the teaching and ancillary estate buildings. The aged Victorian buildings had varying levels of refurbishment undertaken from stripping the building back to the building shell, to sympathetically remodelling the internal layout of buildings. Facilities included a central teaching building with a state-of-the-art lecture theatre, music, art, drama, science, and PE buildings together with offices and general academic space.
