Following amendments to fire safety legislation, Canterbury City Council have carried out a Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls (FRAEW) on Windsor House that have recommended the installation of vertical fire barriers within the Wimpey-no-fines cladding system. In conjunction with the cladding works, the deteriorated roofing system and steel water tank would be replaced.

Provelio are project managing the works. Responsibilities include procuring and coordinating the project team, tendering the works and reporting on construction progress. The project requires careful coordination due to the extensive telecoms equipment (incl RNLI systems) on the roof space that will require relocating.
